Issue: JIRA Alert Channel integration in Error Status.
Investigation:
Refer to our documentation for the steps to create a Lacework Jira Alert Channel. If the integration fails and the Alert channel status shows an error, check for the following possible causes.
Check 1 - Review the URL provided in the Jira URL section during the Alert Channel Setup. As recommended in our 'Create a Lacework Jira Alert Channel' Documentation, verify that 'https://' is not included in the URL provided.
Check 2 - Navigate to the Issue types on Jira Platform ( Jira -> Project settings -> Issue Types). From the list, select the issue type specified for the Alert Channel.
For the selected issue type, Verify that the Priority Component is presemt in the Context Fields. If not, click on Priority from the right-side panel which adds it to the Context Fields.
Save Changes. Below is an example of how every issue type UI should look like for successful integration with Lacework.
Check 3 - Verify if the correct Jira Project Key is provided for the Alert Channel.
Check 4 - If the Jira issue type has custom priorities instead of the default, a custom template specifying mapping will have to be provided for the Alert channel by clicking Choose File under Custom Template File in Lacework UI to override the default settings as explained in our documentation.
Click 'Test Integration' for the Alert Channel in Lacework UI after verifying the above checks.
Lacework attempts to send a 'Test Event' to the Jira Project and updates the status of the Alert Channel accordingly. The status should now update to Success and a 'Test Event' Issue will be created in the specified Jira Project.
If the Test Integration fails and the Alert Channel Status remains in Error status, please submit a support ticket for further investigation.
