New in Lacework Release 1.0
We are excited to share with you the latest features we've wrapped into Lacework version 1.0. No action is required on your end, the updates have already been implemented in the Lacework Platform.
Now it's time to log in and see how these new features can enhance your overall cloud security.
Support for Google OAuth
You should now be able to login to the Lacework platform with your Google account. This simplifies the login process, providing an alternative to email only login, which was available earlier.
We now have support for containers as an entity:
- Dedicated Dossier for containers with all the information about them
- Containers available as a filter
- Support for containers in the application graphs. They show up with a container icon
- Ability to drill down and get information on a specific container
- Anomalous Events related to containers
We now support attribution of all activity in the environment to the original user for SSH based logins.
Even if user does SUDO, changes user name or uses a system account the Lacework solution will still attribute the activity to original user.
When looking at information for a user, now it will show information for original user and not just the effective user.
In case of a single user, we now have a new card called TTY card, which provides details on the user activity across all logins and username changes.
App Type Support
We have added support for app type allowing you to search using app types and not just executable names. The events in the system also will be generated for app types.
We have the network in and out bytes/connections as time series in the system available for all entities.
We value your feedback and welcome any comments you may have to help improve the Lacework solution.
